Ward Thomas Release Cover of ‘River’

It’s officially December which means it is now totally acceptable to blast out Christmas music.

And thanks to Ward Thomas we have a Country festive favourite on constant repeat. The record making British duo have finally released their divine cover of Joni Mitchell’s classic ‘River‘.

Catherine and Lizzy have dazzled fans with their spellbinding version of this track during Christmas shows since last year but until now fans haven’t been able to download the gorgeous song but thankfully that has all changed as this holiday season Ward Thomas have finally shared an official studio version of their sublime cover of ‘River’.

The harmonies of the twin sisters are super tight and they totally make the track their own. It’s a real standout from the duo whose voices just seem to keep getting better and better with each and every record.

As we lead up to the release of their eagerly anticipated third studio album ‘Restless Minds‘ on February 1st, 2019, this cover of ‘River’ shines a light of their delightful country vocal tones and breathtaking sibling harmonies.
