Melanie Meriney has today released her new single ‘Flame’. Many readers will know Melanie from her fantastic ‘Notes from Nashville‘ series which appears monthly on this site, while her last EP release ‘Up In Lights’ was simply brilliant.
‘Flame’ is a new song from Melanie and it touches on those encounters with an ex, where you make small talk and everything seems OK on the outside, but it’s a very different situation on the inside. We’ve all been there and Melanie articulates this brilliantly, in this slower number from the Pittsburgh born singer. This is stripped back with the singer taking centre stage and you can’t help but get drawn in by the emotive vocals of Melanie Meriney. A gorgeous song from an artist who is destined to go far!
