Hengistbury – What Folks Don’t Know

Today I’m delighted to feature ‘Hengistbury’ for the first time, with their debut single ‘What Folks Don’t Know’. Hengistbury are formed of Jessie Mary and Pete Briley, who, in November of last year, hunkered down in a tiny studio on the Dorset coast – filled with guitars, fiddles, lap steels, banjos and just about every other instrument they could lay their hands on – and began writing and recording their debut album.

‘What Folks Don’t Know’ is the first release from the session and comes along with this fun and very watchable video above.
