Sarah Darling Announced as FSA Fest Headliner

US Country starlet Sarah Darling has been taking the ever growing UK Country scene by storm since she first made it over to our shores several years ago. She has toured with the likes of homegrown superstars such as Ward Thomas and The Shires and has performed across a number of British festivals including 4 consecutive C2C’s and has just wrapped her second headline tour of the UK.

The latest run of dates were in support of Darling’s forthcoming LP ‘Wonderland‘ which is slated for a June 7th release. The stunning album was recorded, produced and written in Britain and features the Iowa native’s unique take on the Nashville meets London sound.

Speaking about working on the project here in the UK, Sarah said: “On this project, it’s really about new friends and new ideas. I literally would walk into a co-writing session, and had never met the person before. It’s so incredibly exciting to be finishing up the album, and to say I’ve recorded this in a different country. It’s a true reflection of me, and the current ride I’m on. Not to mention, I have new friends and memories for life. Music is about the connection. I’m so proud to share this trans-Atlantic collaboration. It’s the greatest adventure of my life to date!”

Since spending so much time in the UK in recent years the Nashville based artist who is married to British graphic designer James Muriel has become an adopted Brit and has even developed a soft English lilt to her Midwestern accent which has endeared her even more to her growing UK fanbase. And this September she will even be co-headlining the British Country Music Festival in Blackpool alongside Ward Thomas and Catherine McGrath which is testament to how close the link between Sarah and British fans has become.

And now it has been confirmed that Sarah Darling will be one of the headline acts taking to the stage during the upcoming FSA Fest which will be taking place at the Newark Showground, Winthorpe, Newark on between July 12th, 13th and 14th.

Early bird tickets are available now priced at £55 for what promises to be a truly memorable festival full of wonderful Country Music talents from across the world.

Sarah is one of the most truly talented Country artists on the scene and her live shows are always memorable as she delivers a sublime set filled with stunning, sweet vocals and inspirational lyrics. There’s no denying that she was born to perform and she lights up any stage she’s on.
