Occasionally you come across an artist for the first time who simply takes your breath away and Jaime Wyatt falls firmly into that category. ‘Giving Back the Best of Me’ is an absolutely gorgeous song which grabs you immediately and after a handful of listens (yes, this song had to be on repeat) it has quickly cemented itself into one of my top five songs of the year. The good news is that there is much more to come, as her album ‘Felony Blues’ (which features this song) is released on the 30th June.

Billboard magazine described the sound of Jaime Wyatt as – “The twang of Buck Owens, mixed with the freewheeling sounds of The Byrds or Rick Nelson’s later Decca recordings. Sprinkle in a dash of the eternal cool factor of Linda Ronstadt.”
