Album Review: Lady Antebellum’s ‘Heart Break’ – Laura K.

Lady Antebellum are back and sounding better than ever! The multi Grammy award winning trio have released their latest studio album ‘Heart Break’ and they could definitely be adding to their collection of Grammy’s very soon. The LP is filled with belting country/pop tunes that have the potential to gain them a whole new fanbase across the globe.
There was a time when every country music fan thought Lady Antebellum would never be able to top their smash hit single ‘Need You Now’, but with the track ‘This City’ they may have well have just gone and done ti. The super catchy track has all the ingredients needed to created another timeless classic like ‘Need You Now’ and it will definitely go down a storm on tour with the crowds singing along to the chorus.
‘Heart Break’ is a collection of massive country/pop hits such as the jazz infused ‘You Look Good’, ‘This City’ and the title track ‘Heart Break’, and some really stripped back ballads such as ‘Hurt’, and ‘Famous’ and ‘Somebody Else’s Heart’.
The standout tracks on the album include, ‘Heart Break’, ‘Famous’, ‘This City’, ‘The Stars’, ‘You Look Good’, ‘Hurt’, and Good Time To Be Alive’.
With this stunning record Lady Antebellum have cemented themselves as one of the best country music band’s of all time and this is without doubt their best LP to date.
