Martha L. Healy – To Be Free

Today we’re delighted to feature Martha L. Healy on the site for the first time. Martha has been particularly busy of late  – she  recently returned from a 4 month stint in Nashville where she played at venues such as the Bluebird, The Nashville Palace and Douglas Corner. Martha also appeared at the Country 2 Country festival in London in March, following on from an appearance in Glasgow in 2016 and will also soon be appearing at the famed ‘King Tut’s’ venue alongside fellow Belles and Gals favourites Raintown.

Above you can see the video for ‘To Be Free’, the title track of Martha’s most recent EP, which drew great praise across the industry, including high praise from Ricky Ross on Radio Scotland and from John Roffey in Maverick Magazine. Martha will be heading back to Nashville over the summer to finish recording her second album and from what I’ve heard so far, I cannot wait!
