Canadian country music sensation Shania Twain has confirmed that she will appear as a guest mentor to the 12 finalists on this years The Voice USA.

The 51-year-old who is gearing up for her fifth studio album-her first LP in fifteen years-confirmed the news of her mentor role via Instagram with the caption; “Excited to announce that I’ll appear on @nbxthevoice later this month, as a mentor to the twelve finalists. Tune in on Monday 24th April at 8pm ET/PT”.

This is not the first time Shania Twain has mentored wannabe singers. Back in 2010 she was a guest judge American Idol where she sat alongside British music mogul Simon Cowell. She later returned to Idol to mentor the finalists for a live show.
