Finally after years of waiting it seems this month will be the month we actually get some Shania Twain music news direct from the horses mouth. Since 2016 we have been hearing rumours of a new album from the country legend and back in February the 51-year-old confirmed to Rolling Stone magazine that the album was complete and is due for release this May. However during the article/interview there seemed to be confirmation of a single release for March but March came and went without any new music or announcement from the ‘From This Moment On’ hitmaker.

But come April 18th we might actually get some news regarding her forthcoming fifth studio album direct from Shania herself as this is the day she will appear on James Corden’s hit US chat-show the Late Late Show. Twain has been officially confirmed as a guest for the episode although she is not down as a performer as Bastille are the musical guest. However considering Shania Twain is on the show we are hopeful that Corden will get some key information out of her regarding the release of the most eagerly anticipated album of a generation.

Although, Twain’s appearance on the talk-show is probably in order to promote the Stagecoach Festival which she will headline on April 29th. But more than likely she will want to premiere at least one new song during her live set which is due to be her only live show of the year, so April 18th seems like a good day to formally announce the release date of her first single in 6 years and first album in 15.
