I Believe in Father Christmas – Breeze Redwine

If you’ve been following Belles and Gals from the very start you’ll know we’re huge fans of Lisa Redford, a singer songwriter based in Norwich/New York whose 2016 EP ‘Another Place and Time’ received a nomination in our ‘EP of the Year’ category. As well as being an amazingly talented singer, Lisa is also a teacher and a mentor to Breeze Redwine, an artist who has certainly caught our eye! So today, we’re delighted to feature Breeze for the first time, with this fantastic cover of Greg Lake’s ‘I Believe in Father Christmas’, recorded exclusively for the BBC – this performance made even more amazing by the fact that Breeze Redwine is just 14 years old. Look out for Lisa too, accompanying Breeze on the guitar. It’s always great to feature new artists on Belles and Gals and it’s clear that today we’re featuring an artist who is clearly going places.
