Rivers – Real Christmas

Today we feature ‘Rivers’ for the first time with their Christmas song “Real Christmas”. ‘Rivers’ are based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I heard this song for the first time just a couple of days ago and I was really taken with it – I’m not always a big fan of Christmas songs, but this one works. I especially like the way the song opens with the low-key twang, before Annika’s great vocals come in and the song takes off. I’ve also had a listen to some of the group’s other numbers and I have to say I was impressed. Rivers are the first artists from the Netherlands I’ve featured on the site and you’ll be hearing a lot more about them in the New Year.
