Una Healy Releases New Single ‘Strangers’

Fresh from being announced as the Saturday morning host for the forthcoming Country Hits Radio station; the UK’s very first national radio station dedicated to playing Country music, Una Healy has returned with her breathtaking new single ‘Strangers’.

The new track from the former The Saturdays band member comes several months after the singer split with her husband, Irish Rugby star Ben Foden after the sportsman allegedly cheated on the musician.

The lyrics of ‘Strangers’ seem to point to this time of hurt and betrayal and offers listeners a real insight into how the separation has affected the mother of two.

Speaking about the single via social media, Una Healy confirmed that the raw and emotive new track is her most “honest” release to date, saying: “This is the most honest track I’ve ever written and I really hope you all enjoy”.

County Music is synonymous with creating honest songs straight from the heart with a real strong storytelling element and ‘Strangers’ is exactly that.

Healy has come out from a very dark place in her private life and has now found some much needed light and love and has in turn  created the best, most crafted and honest work of her music career so far.

The powerful and moving ‘Strangers’ also acts as the first official single off Una Healy’s much anticipated forthcoming sophomore studio album.

The eagerly awaited LP is slated for release later this year and follows on from the breakout success of her 2017 debut solo Country album ‘The Waiting Game’ which became a massive chart hit during its release two years ago.
