WATCH: Ward Thomas’ 15 City Restless Minds Road Trip

On Friday, February 8th the day of the release of their long-awaited and absolutely sensational third studio album ‘Restless Minds‘, record making Country-Pop Music duo Ward Thomas consisting of 24-year-old twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy, decided to embark on a 15 city whistle-stop tour of the UK in support of the Sony/WTW Music released record.

The mammoth showcases dubbed The Restless Minds Road Trip saw the Hampshire native musicians performing one song off the LP in each city they stopped off at in order of what they appear on the CD’s impressive soundtrack. The news of the road trip with city details  was announced via Social Media with the girls keeping fans posted throughout the weekend which saw them perform in 15 cities across the weekend.

And now fans of Ward Thomas who were unable to attend any of the song showcases or just want to watch back are able to do so thanks to the British Country stars posting videos of the three day city challenge via YouTube showcasing the live performances and also a sneak peek at the behind the scenes of what it took to achieve the feat.

Friday: Day 1 saw the twin sisters stopping off in Guildford for track 1 ‘No Filter’, before heading off to Basingstoke for ‘Lie Like Me’, then jumping straight in the car to get to Southampton for a performance of song number 3 ‘One More Goodbye, it was then off to Bath where they showcased ‘It’s Not Just Me’, the girls and their guitarist Billy then headed to Bristol where they sang ‘Ain’t That Easy’ before finishing up in Oxford with ‘Rather Be Breathing’:

Saturday: Day 2 of The Restless Minds Road Trip began with Cambridge and song number 7 ‘Hopeless’, the pair then headed to Leicester for ‘Never Know’ before singing ‘Same Love’ in Leamington Spa, Liverpool was next and they were treated to ‘Changing’ before the duo ended their day in Manchester with track number 11 ‘No Fooling Me’:

Sunday: Day 3 kicked off in Leeds with the 12th song off the Restless Minds LP ‘I Believe In You’, Ward Thomas then hot footed it over to York for ‘Little Girl Sorrow’, then went straight on to Newcastle for ‘Deepest You’ before a long trip to Glasgow to end the mighty challenge with ‘This Too Will Pass’:

Although no doubt knackering The Restless Minds Road Trip was undeniably fun and was capped off the following weekend with ‘Restless Minds’ sailing straight into the Official UK Top 10 debuting at number 8 on the all genre chart.
