Sarah Darling Forced to Push Back Wonderland LP Release Due to Pledge Music Issue

News of trouble at crowd funding website Pledge Music first arose last month with the site which allows fans to connect with artists in the making of records, admitting that they had been failing to fulfil payments to the musicians using the site.

And unfortunately one of the artists affected has been Belles and Gals favourite Sarah Darling. The American Country sweetheart has been a long time member of PledgeMusic and last year she announced details of her new album Wonderland through the direct artist to fan website.

The LP was scheduled for a March 1st, 2019 release and Darling had put up a whole bunch of exciting extras such a backstage passes, signed bundles, lyric sheets and more, for her loyal supporters to purchase before the LP dropped.

The adopted Brit who recorded, produced and wrote the whole album here in the UK, took to the Pledge site today (February 7th) to announce that the record will now unfortunately be pushed back due to ongoing issues with the website:

“Hello Darlings,
Making ‘Wonderland’ has been one of the greatest musical adventures I’ve ever had in my life. Every song is so incredibly special to me and tells my story. It imprints this very special time in my life, when I got to create a country album in the UK. Last night, PledgeMusic announced that that it would be suspending all active campaigns until further notice. The immediate effect is that no new pre-orders of Wonderland are possible at this time. More concerning is that the announcement raises questions about the fulfillment of existing pre-orders. I wanted my fans rest assured that I will do everything in my power to get your fulfillment’s in a timely manner. All of you are the reason I do this, and I’m so grateful for everyone who has taken the time to preorder. At this time we will be moving the release of Wonderland to later date until we get a clearer picture. I’ll keep you up to date as information transpires. Thank you for all your love and support”

PledgeMusic stated: “Unfortunately PledgeMusic has suspended pledges on all active campaigns and will look to resume them shortly. Thanks for your patience.

Everyone at Belles and Gals is behind Sarah, and sends her our support and hope she and all other PledgeMusic users get this sorted out quickly.
