Lisa Kowalski – I Do

Today is the fourth time we’ve featured Lisa Kowalski on Belles and Gals, a fast rising country music star from Paisley in Scotland. Lisa will be releasing a new E.P. in 2019 and ‘I Do’ is the first glimpse of the new record.

‘I Do’ is a gorgeous, stripped back song which was written about the messy end of Lisa’s first romantic relationship. Lisa’s vocals do a fantastic job of expressing that emotion, while the black and white accompanying video acts as a fine companion to the rawness of the song.

Lisa is joined by American pianist Mark Bovee (friend of the producer Corbin Miles of Paisley) and local artists Emma Durkan (fiddle) and Tim Allen (mandolin) on the song. 

The song will be one of 4 featuring on Lisa’s second EP to be released in 2019, each one depicting a different stage of the same relationship.
