Today I’m delighted to feature Krista Angelucci for the first time, with her latest single ‘Fake Girl’. Krista has a fantastic voice and delivers this beautiful heartbreak track perfectly – it’s a song that many of you will relate to. I spoke to Krista and asked her to tell me all about ‘Fake Girl’.
“The song “Fake Girl” came about when my friend and co-writer, Greg Burroughs, and I started talking about life experiences during a write one day. The song turned into something that had been on my heart for awhile. As an artist and writer, when you share a song that holds a piece of you, you hope others will relate to it as their own. I know I’m not the only one who has had to heal from a similar situation. Since the release of “Fake Girl”, I’ve had people reach out and say it’s their life in a song and describe it as “powerful”. There’s nothing better than when someone genuinely thanks you for writing something. It reminds me why I do what I do and keeps me going.”
