Emily Hackett – Good Intentions

Today I’m delighted to feature the brand new single from Emily Hackett – ‘Good Intentions’. The song was premiered on the Radio Disney Country stage last weekend at CMA Fest. This is the first time we’ve featured Emily on Belles and Gals and what a fine introduction – ‘Good Intentions’ is a track that has attitude and character, delivered brilliantly by the singer. Expect to see much more from Emily here soon!

When asked about ‘Good Intentions’ recently in Paste Magazine, Emily stated:

“This song is unique for me because it’s not just my story. I pulled real-life snippets from a bunch of my friends. One used to get their car towed from the bar all the time, one kept swearing off boys but still flirting her way through life, one has definitely had some serious retail therapy. It’s a little bit of everyone because that’s the idea – we all have good intentions.”
