Beth Keeping – Dodged a Bullet
It’s always fantastic to feature a new artist on the site and today I’m delighted to share a new song from UK artist Beth Keeping. ‘Dodged a Bullet’ is the first release from her debut EP, ‘Fool’, which is released early next year. In the last year, Beth has been on writing trips to Ireland, Estonia and the US, searching for lyrical stories and influences. Beth, from Surrey, combines her love of storytelling and pop melodies to create songs that speak into and about real situations.
‘Dodged a Bullet’ was recorded in Nashville and it’s a song about looking back at a relationship with the benefit of hindsight. I’m sure you’ll agree the song is just brilliant – Beth has great vocals and the song has attitude too. Check out the fantastic video too, which starts out tension filled, but has a great twist to it!
