Lisa Kowalksi – State of Grace

Today we feature Lisa Kowalski for the first time with this brilliant cover of Taylor Swift’s ‘State of Grace’. Lisa is just 17 years old but has already made a name for herself by performing on streets of her native Paisley and is hoping that her performances will aid Paisley’s bid to become the UK City of Culture in 2021.

‘I have over the last 3 years or so performed in all sorts of places, gained confidence, fine tuned the vocals, really widened my set and written my own material. I am very lucky that song writing comes naturally to me as I find it a great way to communicate emotions and feelings that I would find it difficult to express in conversation!’

We’ll be keeping a close eye on Lisa in the next few weeks as her debut EP ‘Freespirits’ is soon to be released – this lady from the historical Scottish town of Paisley is certainly one to watch!
